ROBERT CAPA                             Illustrated 7/8/43 Casablanca Port

Robert Capa documented the activities of the US Armies Service of Supplies at the port of Casablanca. Tanks, planes and men were hastily pouring through the port. The ability of the Allies to keep the men at the front supplied with equipment and 'home comforts', while disrupting Axis lines of supplies became one of the deciding factors in the campaign in North Africa. It features twelve of Capa's images.
