James Jarche documents men of the 1st Ranger Battalion training at a street fighting school in a bombed out area in Battersea, London in 1942.
"Darby's Rangers" were the first U.S. troops to see action in Europe when a cohort of men were attached to British Commando and Canadian army units during the Dieppe raid on 19th August 1942. The unit saw further service in North Africa, Sicily and Italy.
The magazine is complete and original and has an archive repair to the interior of the spine.
