44 Squadron R.A.F. Waddington Lancaster Illustrated 1942

The cover features a portrait of Pilot Officer S. Jess, a Canadian airman of 44 (Rhodesia) Squadron based at R.A.F. Waddington in 1942. He is the wireless operator in the crew of Squadron Leader Pat Burnett, flying in Lancaster MK.I R5740 KM-O.
