John Hannah V.C. 83 Squadron R.A.F. Illustrated 19th October 1940

A very rare and original copy of Illustrated magazine featuring Sergeant John Hannah V..C. and  pilot, F/O Clare Connor D.F.C.
 
Hannah was awarded a Victoria Cross for conspicuous bravery in putting out fires, after his Handley Page Hampden had received a direct hit from anti-aircraft on a bombing raid over Antwerp on the night of the 15th September 1940.
 
The magazine is complete and original and in very good condition
