MARTIN MUNKACSI VU 18th February 1931 Leni Riefenstahl

A very rare copy of Vu magazine from 1931. The cover features a Martin Munkacsi portrait of Leni Riefenstahl. Riefenstahl, an actress who had starred in several films in her native Germany through out the 1920's. It was her later career as Third Reich's documentary film maker for which she is most known for.
The editor and fellow Hungarian Stefan Lorant encouraged Munkacsi to work in Germany for the illustrated press.
