Robert Capa 504th P.I.R. 82nd Airborne Illustrated 1944

Robert Capa documented the men of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne in their preparations for Operation Husky, the invasion of Sicily on 9/10th July 1943.
 
Capa accompanied Lt. Charles W. Kouns and his H.Q. Company but was not allowed to take part in the combat jump.

The 78 year old magazine is original and complete. There is some creasing to the top right hand corner and the original staples have been removed.
