Western Approaches Liverpool Einstein Illustrated 26th February 1944

An original wartime copy of Illustrated magazine featuring the photo essay, 'Behind the Atlantic Battle'. The story documents the training of naval personnel in tactics of combating the u-boat threat at the Western Approaches Tactical School in Liverpool.
 
James Jarche photographs Albert Einstein in his study at Princeton University, his portrait features on the cover.
 
The 80 year old magazine is complete and in very good original condition. The original staples have been removed.
